This Green Sunday, 12 February 2022, we are planting hope in the heart of the Negev – a Healing Garden at the Soroka Medical Centre (SMC) in Be’er Sheva.
Our goal is $200,000.
Found deep in the heart of Israel’s South, SMC stands proudly as the largest hospital in the region. And the only one in the Negev.
Over one million residents, including 400,000 children, rely upon its care – all year round.
From ambulatory care to birthing suites, SMC supports the community with all its healthcare needs in routine times. And in emergencies.
In the last decade SMC has grown exponentially. It services up to 60% of Israel’s land area and provides vital care to all Negev’s diverse communities.
And the IDF soldiers.
With well being front of mind, came the need to rejuvenate the entrance to the hospital with a healing garden – to bring hope and cure to thousands who use the centre daily.
Please give generously to help bring this healing oasis to life – and plant hope for the people of the Negev.
